Does this bow make me look fierce? 🤪 . No but seriously...I’m OBSESSED with this new workout program I’ve been doing. Never in my life have I been so excited to get home to actually do a workout. Having a solid workout plan scheduled out, a virtual trainer telling me exactly what to do daily to get maximum results, and every workout is different for 100 days? Ohhhh & did I mention the workouts are only 20-35 min long!? Freakin SIGN ME UP! The old me would dread having to go to the gym. Having to get home from a long day at work, pack my gym bag, get back in the car, drive 15 minutes to the gym and actually try to figure out what workout to do to get bomb results🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️Yaaaa no thanks! 👎🏽 . It’s pretty freakin cool to be able to get a kickass workout from home or even be able to stream my trainer at the gym if I’m ever in the mood to be in a gym setting 🙌🏼No guess work, no more scratching my head wasting time trying to figure out what to do...it’s all spelled out for me & it feels so damn good! 👏👏We live such crazy, busy lives as it is....ain’t nobody got time to play guessing games when it comes to a workout. Plyometrics, also known as jump training, uses the stretching shortening cycle to create power development within the neuromuscular system. Athletes are required to develop power bilaterally and unilaterally, depending on the sport requirements. Strength and conditioning programs should contain opportunities for athletes to develop this skill on both feet first, learning how to generate power effectively as well as how to land softly. I got put in my place today...by a client⁣ •⁣ •⁣ This morning was VERY out of character for me. I woke up 5 minutes before I was suppose to meet with my morning client. My alarm was set to PM instead of AM...Never in my entire life have I missed work/class/a client session due to over sleeping or a jacked up alarm. I woke up in a PANIC, like majorly. I immediately contacted my client of course and told her what was going on. She was so understanding, but that didn’t make me feel any better about the situation. I literally wanted to cry.⁣ •⁣ In the midst of talking with my client, she hits me with “Life happens” MY OWN MOTO I PREACH TO EVERYONE. Literally, she put me in my place so quick! Like here my client is, telling me what I tell my clients all the time 🥴 ⁣ •⁣ After the situation this morning I was in a horrible mood, even after we situated things. I was being so hard on myself and I just couldn’t forgive myself for being so stupid. Hearing my client straight up call me out telling me to stop freaking out really got me thinking.⁣ •⁣ I am human, I make mistakes, I am not perfect. As much as I like to think I am perfect, I’m not. Not even close! ⁣ •⁣ This morning also made me realize how much of a individual relationship I have with each and every client of mine. Every single girl or guy I train or have trained I have a real life friendship with further than just training! I care so much about them both inside and outside of the gym. This morning I realized my client cared as much about me as I do her.⁣ •⁣ Being a trainer to me is so much more than just helping people get in shape. It’s about developing real life friendships with people to not only be able to help them get physically healthier, but also mentally. I hope all of my #KPF guys & gals know that I’m there for them 25/8 whether you need something fitness related or not. We’re a team.
