Minty watermelon juice with a squeeze of lime! 🍉🌿✨ It was sweet, refreshing and so energizing! 🌞 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I blended 2 mini watermelons, 1 juiced lime and added 1 drop of peppermint oil. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Jon and I have CRAZY synchronicity. We’ve never met anyone else who we’ve synced up with on this level. ❤️ The connectivity between us is wild! Jon and I were eating a raw noodle dish last night. As we were sitting across from each other at the table, we both look up and were about to say something at the same time. Jon says, “Wait, you say it first.” I said, “Since we ended up with two watermelons in the fridge somehow, maybe we can make watermelon juice!” He flashed me his phone right away and showed me a watermelon juice recipe. We hadn’t talked about watermelon in DAYS and we haven’t EVER made watermelon juice together in the last 2 years of us dating. These synchronicities happen to us 5-10 times a day, every single day since we’ve started dating. We love it! 🥰 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We’re keeping it going with the high vibe foods! Some times we have to disconnect for a while to reconnect with ourselves. For the past fortnight or so, I just have been feeling a little “off”. I haven’t felt creative or inspired and everything felt hard, overwhelming or exhausting. This is very unusual for me as normally I’m literally buzzing. It got to Thursday and I said to a friend “I’m done, I can’t be like this anymore” so instead of complaining, I did something about it and as of today I’m feeling 100000 percent again 😍So what happened? This happens when I get burnt out; focusing too much on work and others and not about myself. So how have I fixed this? I took from Friday to Sunday to just rest. I didn’t force my self to do anything or see anyone. I didn’t engage with people or topics that drain me. I did don’t scroll through social media or watch “drama” filled tv. I updated the clients that needed to be updated but I did no extra work. I didn’t respond to texts or social media. I spent time in the sun each day. When I did train it was “fun”, not structured programming. I ate well. I pampered myself; skin, body and mind. I slept ALOT, I watched movies and read. And now I am feeling rejuvenated. So, if you’re feeling flat, down, a little lifeless, I encourage you to take some time out and re energise yourself. Do activities alone. Things that feed your soul and help you find your centre. Youre not going to feel 100 percent 100 percent of the time and that is okay. What’s not okay is to get stuck in that space, to ignore those feelings and spiral further down. It isn’t okay to ignore your own needs. This leads to increases in anxiety and depression. You owe it to yourself to be RUTHLESS when it comes to loving yourself. Be conscious enough to know when you need time out and then do something about.
