💖 Slay your Monday 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Vulnerability is an asset, not something to hide. Although being fearless with your vulnerability can make you feel, well vulnerable.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Recently, actually last week, I went into meditation 🧘‍♀️ with the intention to view my inner landscape of Captivated Clients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (If you’re interested in utilising meditation 🧘‍♀️ as a business tool, then please read my previous post 💖 )⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This message came to me almost immediately upon connecting with my higher self:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‘YOU need to change your perception.’⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And, then a series of stories that had been really important to me & who I was over the past 12 months flashed before my minds eye & I realised that they had become my very own limitations & did not support me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I sat in that meditation 🧘‍♀️ & started to change my perception, my landscape of how the stories were no longer limiting & instead they were limitless. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And once I had re-written my internal dialogue EVERYTHING CHANGED IN MY EXTERNAL WORLD 🗺 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I mean everything. It was liberating & amazing all at the one time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And I wanted to share with you an experience of my own vulnerability. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But the thing is, once I chose to work with my limitations, my vulnerabilities they changed & became limitless possibilities.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My meditation 🧘‍♀️ time was 10 minutes & about 10 minutes more writing ✍️ out what came through in my meditation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Meditation 🧘‍♀️ Journaling, stillness of the mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Choose to confront what is blocking you or limiting you, because you too, can make these your limitless possibilities.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And all you need is 10 to 15 minutes every day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m feeling confident you have that time to spare on yourself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you willing to make it for yourself though?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .

According to my Fitbit I burned a whole lot of calories. Now let’s talk about weight loss and weight gain: to lose weight you need to maintain a caloric deficit of 500 meaning you need to burn 500 more calories than you eat or drink. To gain weight you need to maintain a caloric surplus of 500, so consume 500 more calories than you burn. Using my 2955 calories as an example, to lose weight I’d need to eat a maximum of 2455 calories. To gain I’d need to eat 3455 calories. To support your goals you HAVE to eat a nutrition rich diet in order to support your body’s recovery. If you’re exercising your body is going to have a higher demand of nutrition rich foods that are well balanced meaning enough protein, enough carbs and enough fat. So, your meals need to be able to support your goals but not support fat retention. The balance will be different for everyone based on body type, lifestyle, metabolism etc. A pound of fat is estimated to have about 3500 calories so conceivably if you maintain a caloric deficit of 500 everyday you can lose a pound of fat in 7 days (3500/500=7 ). So once again consistency is key. #consistency #fitnessnutrition

📚STORY SUNDAY📚 . . @lifeasnavita ’s Fitness Journey . . I started working out because of the way it made me feel. Not just physically, but also mentally. If I have a bad day and need something to pick me up, there is nothing better than a great workout to turn things around. This is why making the right food choices and putting in the work comes easy for me. Knowing how great I’m going to feel is all the reason I need. . . I knew if I want to reach my fitness goals and make a change in my life, I have to change my mindset and not depend on feeling motivated to do what I know I need to do. Once I learned not to let how I’m feeling in the moment steer me away from what I know I should be doing, everything in my life started improving. . . Looking good is cool, but looking good and FEELING good is freaking amazing. Had a great weekend spending time with friends & family, & having some much needed downtown! 💆🏼‍♀️ - On Sunday’s I like to reset & prepare myself for the upcoming week. It’s the perfect time to reflect, get organized, & set new goals! ✅ My typical Sunday includes getting chores done (laundry is a must ), writing out my week’s action items list, getting outside for fresh air, setting aside some me time, & getting a good night sleep. - Your daily routines (especially your morning & evening ones ) are extremely powerful & can make the difference between staying focused & productive, or not making your time work for you. 💡 - What do your daily routines look like? I am gearing up for the FASTer Way 10 Day detox! Don’t let the word detox throw you off. Progress photos > Scale . . The scale can be a scary thing. As I am increasing my food and changing my macros around, I’m not gonna lie it freaks me out a bit. I know in order to reach my goals, this is necessary! . . As I watch the scale, the scale keeps going up. Of course I’m building more muscle, but as a girl, no one wants to see that. PRESENT I always forget about the here and now. My brain is either in the past or the future. But when I have those tiny moments of being here, right now, then I have such clarity. It’s easier for me to make better choices about myself and for myself because I’m just making them for right now. If I’m making them and my brain is in the past then my choices are always set to failure. If my head is 2yrs from now and the expectation I have from the success I haven’t even started working towards also sets me up for a fail. If I am present in there here and now, then I only need to truly concentrate on that moment, and the decisions I make become much smaller and easier to handle. Today was church day for me. Awhile back I didn’t enjoy going to church because of the pain. Get up and down was extremely painful. The pews were also so uncomfortable. If you remember I said my recliner was the only place I had some relief. The past several months have been wonderful. I can sit in the pew and not die of pain, standing up is so much easier, and I a can raise both hands again for the our father. All I can say is I’m enjoying church again. What helped me with my pain has been the most popular combo TriPlex. TriPlex has done so much for me.
