Swinging into the week like... My whole heart on one swing set😍. #secretpark
Joy To The World Getting so excited to share what we’ve been working on. Christmas time can’t come soon enough! #ChristmasIsComing
So thankful for our friends at @ultimateearspro My team has been using their in-ear monitors for years and we love them! They didn’t ask me to post this, just wanted to give them a shout out cause they’ve always taken such great care of us AND they’re from SoCal so I gotta represent. If you’re in the market for a world class pair of in ear monitors then you gotta give UE a try. I personally use the “7’s”. Best for singin’ with in my opinion: ). Thanks UE!
Tickets for the Singalong Tour with @kimwalkersmith & @mackbrock are officially on sale today! After a great response from the pre-sale one of these nights is already over half sold and the others are closing in. Go to philwickham.com to grab your tickets and reserve your spot today! 11.7 - Sacramento, CA 11.9 - Orange County, CA 11.10 - Los Angeles, CA 11.15 - Phoenix, AZ 11.16 - Kennewick, WA 11.17 - Portland, OR ///////////////////////// For those who are new to my Singalong records and tours, the whole heart behind them is to simplify and strip away till all that’s left is a room full of people lifting up the praises of Jesus and running into His presence. I LOVE the big band events and tours I get to do with all the lights and production. It can be incredible and inspiring. But even more so I love to move all the “extra” stuff to the side and simply worship. There is not a more beautiful sound on earth than the people of God singing the praises of God in the presence God. That’s what I love about “Singalong”. These nights aren’t about a room full of people taking in what’s happening on stage, they are about a community, a family both on and off stage joining together to create something that is true and beautiful. Anything can happen. Every night will be unique and different from the others. It’s going to be so special and we can’t wait for you to join us.
Celebrating the 1 year anniversary this weekend of the record “Living Hope” being released. It is always exciting (and still slightly nerve racking ) to send these songs out into the world and watch where God chooses to take them. I just recently saw that between @spotify and @applemusic this record has over 82 million streams collectively. Ha! What?! Normally, I cringe at the thought of posting numbers and stuff like this, but I thought today it was worth sending out a digital high five ✋🏼 to y’all and a huge thank you to God for the incredible and humbling honor it is to write songs for and about Him. It’s all a testament to His crazy, amazing grace. I have fallen flat on my face so many times and in so many ways. Made the wrong choices over and over again. Acted out of insecurity, pride, selfishness and impatience. But in spite of all this, God continues to forgive, to show favor, to pour out His love to the point of overflowing. We are monuments of His grace. Each of our saved souls a testimony to His goodness and faithfulness. So thankful for the songs God has put on my heart to sing, and that there are some people out there who want to listen to them. Thanks: )
We’re only 5 hours into the Singalong Tour Pre-Sale and the response has already been incredible! Thanks to all who have already grabbed tickets to join us for these very special nights. This crew y’all!🙌🏼 What a blast hanging and creating with this special group of friends. Great way to end a great day. Beyond thankful to be a part of such an amazing community of Jesus followers. Officially bummed that I have to wait till later this year to share all that we captured today.
Such a blast hanging and writing songs today with good friends @thughes77 and @nickherbs1 Love having my buddies visit my hometown of Encinitas, CA!Massive thanks to @benjihorning and @lightsandiego for letting us use this beautiful space. Thankful to Jesus for these new songs that didn’t exist this morning.
You guys🔥🙌🏼 I haven’t been so fired up about a new tune in a while! This is @brianjohnsonm leading a new song we wrote together called “God Of Revival”. It sparks faith in my heart. This song is crying out for God to move in resurrection power across our hearts, our cities, and our world. Can’t wait to share the whole song with you. ////////////////////////////// “Come awaken Your people Come awaken this city Oh God of Revival Pour it out, pour it out! Every stronghold will crumble I hear the chains hit the ground Oh God of Revival Pour it out, pour it out!” /////// Thanks for the vid @splashofsoda )
I had a chance to sit and talk with my friend @asazcurry from @jcsacramento for his @mancamp_podcast We talked about the importance of “finding your tribe” and staying in community with other men who are walking in the same spiritual direction as you are. It brings to mind the old saying, “If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together”. Emotional and spiritual isolation is not a healthy place for a man (or any human ) to be. Hoping this podcast would encourage guys out there who find themselves in that place today.
Love these dudes @joshauer , @joelplotnik & @hiaaronjoseph What a great weekend hanging and playing with these guys. With computers bugging out, random backing tracks just starting themselves, pedal boards that ended up in Seattle instead of Phoenix, voice issues, lost gear, flight delays, and a misunderstanding in exactly which key we were playing the first song of the set in 🥴, you can say we had our fair share of “technical difficulties” the past few days. So proud of my team’s attitudes staying positive and keeping the ultimate goal in focus. Two truly special nights of thousands lifting their voices to Jesus and we had the privilege of being a part of it. For all you worship leaders out there, whether you lead for 8 people at a home fellowship or 8,000 in an arena I’ve learned that really everything is out of your control accept for your thoughts and the posture of your heart. Throw fear and insecurity at the feet of Jesus. Let discouragement fade in your pursuit of God’s presence. Keep your priorities in line with Gods priorities. In everything give thanks. It’s amazing how the right perspective can reshape any circumstance. Even the greatest mishap is like a small candle and becomes invisible next to the massive, brilliant sun that is Gods presence. A heart that is filled with gratitude becomes a heart that is full of praise.
@gawvi has us walking into Albuquerque like...😂😂 Seriously Gawvi is amazing y’all, and so are the dudes I get to do this with.
1 more from today. Christmas is coming!! 📸: @mikegrayson
What a truly special morning at @thebrooklyntabernacle Absolutely loved joining with the @bt_choir to lead in worship today. Five minutes before the third service started we called an audible and decided to throw a new song of mine called “Highest Praise” in the setlist. The choir and the band had never heard it before, but they played and sang it like they have😂😂! 🙌🏼 What a moment! Also, such a great message on the importance and necessity of basing our lives around the word of God and letting all that we do flow out of the truth found in it. Can’t wait till next time.
A quote from my brother @evanwickham ’s message this past Sunday at @prkhllchrch in San Diego. The whole thing is so good! Evan is one of my favorite bible teachers in the world, and he just keeps getting better and deeper and richer. Thankful for my bro! Y’all can check out Evan’s churches podcast by searching Park Hill Church. The latest one is the message I just finished.
//OCTOBER TOUR// I’ll be out on the road in October with my @bethelmusic friends singing in these beautiful cities! One of my favorite things about worship music is how unifying it is. A room full of people all connected to the same rhythm, singing the same melody, thinking the same truths, proclaiming the same words, lifting up the same Jesus! Excited about these nights! Go to philwickham.com/tour for more info and tickets.
Such a great time with so many friends at the @klovefanawards last night! The band and I were invited to come and lead “Living Hope”. Man, so thankful for this song! I can still clearly remember when @brianjohnsonm sent me a voice memo of him humming a melody that began the journey of writing it🙌🏼. Whether it’s our songs, or acts of love, or generosity, or talents, it’s amazing to watch how God can take our small offerings of “loaves and fishes” and multiply them into something he can use in the world. Don’t be afraid to take steps of faith! God can do MUCH with it: )
What a blessing it was to meet my new friend Riley and his family today before the concert. Riley has autism and doesn’t handle large crowds or loud noises very well. So we did the next best thing. Acoustic show in the parking lot🙌🏼 It still amazes me to hear stories of how God uses these songs in people’s lives. Thanks for coming to hang Riley! ////////////////// repost from @alaurene_
This simple song of worship is becoming one of my favorites to sing and to lead. “We give You the highest praise! Jesus, our Savior, You’re worthy Of It All” When I take a moment and reflect on how good, kind, patient, generous, loving, and faithful God has been to me, sometimes there’s nothing else to say but “I praise You!” Thankful for this song!
