Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband, @douglasemhoff Thank you for always being patient, loving, and supportive. Love you Dougie.
Our nation's teachers are underpaid, overworked, and too many of them are working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. They deserve our full support. My teacher pay plan would give the average teacher a $13,500 raise a year. 📷: @gioncarlovalentine

Happy first day of school, Bison! As this new school year starts, be sure to aim high and make the climb — you never know what you can achieve until you try. At @Howard1867 , you can come as you are and leave as the person you aspire to be. Your Bison family will be with you every step.
It’s been 99 years since the 19th Amendment was ratified and women won the right to vote. Yet the struggle for voting rights continues to this day. We need automatic voter registration and to make early voting accessible across the nation. Election Day should be a national holiday. Only once we have equal access to the ballot box, can we truly say we’ve achieved the ideals of our nation.
Overjoyed to meet @timryanforamerica ’s son this weekend. Hope you got your corn dog, Brady!
Hey there, @elizabethwarren !
Our campaign is powered by volunteers. Grateful to all those who are helping make our Iowa bus tour possible — and to people across the country who are getting off the sidelines and fighting with us #ForThePeople
More than 250 mass shootings in America so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive. This week’s @TIME cover features the communities forever changed by these horrific acts of violence. When will ‘enough’ finally mean ‘enough?’
Honored to kick off my Iowa Bus Tour yesterday with @alexjwatters He is a fierce advocate for people with disabilities. Alex helped ensure Morningside College was fully accessible to those in the ADA community. I am thrilled to continue working with him as we build an America that works #ForThePeople See more of my trip in stories.
In the passing of Toni Morrison, we lost one of our greatest voices and storytellers. Holding close those touched by her being and her gift. Her work gave us power, hope, and freedom. While our world shines a little less bright today, we know "something that is loved is never lost."
My friend and campaign manager, Juan Rodriguez, said it best: we want everyone to join our campaign. We are proud to announce Latinos for the People. Link in bio to join us as we continue to organize and fight #ForThePeople
